how to preserve the vitamin c in rose petals when making it into a jam?

I have a lot of roses from my wedding in all sorts of colors.
I would like to preserve some of the petal so they will last FOREVER!!!. If that is possible?

ok i have a very tight budget for my wedding and i realy don’t want to have to buy rose petals when i have enough i my back yard to take care that…….but i don’t know how to keep them from drying up.

I’ve pressed some rose petals between heavy books and let them dry. I plan on putting them in a frame for a friend. Now that they’re dry, will they last forever or do I need to do something before I put them in the frame?
