I read that they can grow up to 5 feet tall, but also read that they have to be pruned every year. How can you get a 5 foot bush if they have to be cut back? Im in Utah zone 6 thanks@!

I was just given 3 rose bushes in large pots. I would like to plant them in the yard instead of keeping them in the pots all winter. Our temps, right now, range from 80’s to the 60’s at night. Any help would be appreciated.

I went to some wine tasting places today in Livermore California. I noticed rose bushes at the end of every row of the grape trees. Why do they plant the rose bushes at the end of every row? Is there a purpose?
