Rose questions and answers
What was supposed to be a rose bush turned out to be a raspberry bush; very prolific! While I really enjoyed the fruit this year, and the plant is very healthy and the fruit was wonderful, it is spreading everywhere in my garden, and soon you won’t be able to see anything else! How can I effectively remove the “suckers” and manage it so it doesn’t take over without killing my lillies, roses, etc.? Thank you!

And then Bush strolled through the rose garden with him, man hand in man hand. Is there ONE conservative or republican who is willing to admit that Bush’s display of affection was much worse than a simple bow and hand shake? Is there ONE with that much integrity?
Anarchris wrote: If it was not a gesture of subordination, why did the Saudi King fail to respond with a similar bow?
That’s an easy one to answer. He’s too fat to bow.

I have gotten roses several times from my husband, but I always seem to kill them within the first few days. I have cut the ends under water and pulled off the excess leaves, but they still seem to die. Any other suggestions?
